This is my five string serenade, beneath the water I play.

And while I'm playing for you, it could be raining there too.

And on my easle I drew, while I was thinking of you.

And on the roof of my head, in came my five string serenade.

You know at the end of Monsters, Inc

when Boo opens her door, expecting to see Sully and give him a big hug. She is smiling and expecting to see his familiar, loving face -- but is instead faced with a stark, empty closet. She calls out to him, but only hears her own echo. Remember how your heart sank when you saw that part?

Yeah, that. That's how I feel right now.
